More new work in the store

5th October, 2010

So it is getting to be busy month already and I can’t see things changing soon, which is of course good. Off to Edinburgh this weekend, and on Sunday when I get home I need to rush to Leeds and fly off to Germany with work. Back home Wednesday so got to get loads ready.

Anyway new print online named ‘Ink’which is limited to 25 copies and signed (size A3). This was originally meant to be a screen print but the quality I get from the giclée stock is so nice it does not do the design justice. The store is now filling up nicely so go check it out and any day now the first set of pin badges will be here, well that’s what the email said so fingers crossed they will show up in the morning.

Some updates

4th October, 2010

OK the 73-77 store seems to be going from strength to strength so thanks for all the support. I have just released a new print which is one my first screen print ‘One God’. The pin badges (part one) will be here any day now and the new 73-77 designed badges will be posted as soon as we have more info on them. The Kaiju sketches are also coming along nicely and I am hoping to get them done just before the end of the year.

Speaking of the 73-77 site I hope you have all check out the amazing work by very talented and the other half of 73-77 , Anthony Knight. We have some huge plans for 2011 and by this time next year the store will be full of goodies for every taste.

Work front is heating up as well as the web/mobile application project is getting to the point where its the oly thing I have time for, hopefully screen shots as soon as the client lets us.

Oh and watch out for my fixed gear inspired print which will be done around November time…

Latest print now online…

30th September, 2010

OK just finished my latest print ‘Stab, Twist, Kill’ which is limited to 12 copies only. Dark red ink on really nice thick white stock.

This is my first actual finished print run and I am pretty happy with the final result even though it took a while to get the elements together. The Mickey Trooper is now slightly delayed as I can’t get back into the studio until October 30th, but I have a full day set aside so it should be ready for dispatch the following week. Check back here or the store for details.

Speaking of the store it is now online so get yourselves over and you can buy the ‘Stab, Twist, Kill’ print and pre-order the Mickey Trooper. The pin badges should be here any day now and will go straight up on the online. The store has a new name of 73-77 as its now a place to buy both my work and also from the very talented Anthony Knight over at Designosaur 73.

I have started working on a set of 4 prints which will be sold as a set and will be under the theme of Kaiju (thats monsters to you and me). These should be all printed just before Christmas but after last weeks disaster I don’t want jinx it. These will be part of the March/April exhibition which again details will hopefully be up soon.

Specials Pharma promotional material

29th September, 2010

So the Specials Pharma promotional material showed up today and so nice to see it finally here. This project started around 8 months ago so its nice to see how it all progressed.

Latest print design ‘Stab, Twist, Kill’ + store news

27th September, 2010

OK I should have a small print run of these by Friday morning as I will be knocking them out on the Thursday evening. £10 postpaid (£20 worldwide) for all you lucky people, printed on heavy white stock measuring 380mm x 300mm.

Pin badges are ordered and these along with this print will be up on the store at the same time as well as a pre-order for the Mickey Trooper but with half of the run already spoken for be quick when they go up. The weekend I was also lucky enough to listen to the latest Future Of The Left demos but I guess with my brother being in the band it means I do get some perks once in a while.

If anyone watched the UFC this weekend can someone please let me know why the main fight was boring as I fell a sleep. Cro Cop just looks like he can’t be bothered and Mir just decided to spar for a little bit and neither really did anything until it ended in the third. Anyway today I also listened to Seaweed and Burning Love which is a good to work to mix.

The screen of doom

25th September, 2010

So today was going to be a huge print day and all was going smoothly until the screen for some strange reason split and well lets just say a huge set back for getting this first run done. The next step is to get back in and start again which is not ideal but its not like I am in any rush really. I would like to say sorry for the delay though and it could now be ready for end of October and the second of the series ready for December.

Check back soon for some more sketches and other updates, I got a few bits of Kaiju flying over as I type and that makes me one excited idiot. Oh and I forgot to mention but my first exhibition looks like it could happen in March/April 2011 which seems like ages away but its really just round the corner.
